Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of blackclipp.com. By signing in or booking, you agree to them. BlackClipp provides booking pages for independent barbers, stylists and makeup artists ("professionals").

What BlackClipp does

BlackClipp lets you see a professional's services, prices and availability and book a time with them. The services themselves (haircuts, styling, makeup and so on) are provided by the professional, not by BlackClipp. The professional sets their own prices, hours, policies and payment options, and is responsible for their work.

Bookings

• Give accurate details when you book, and show up on time.
• You can cancel an upcoming appointment from the Appointments page. Please cancel as early as you can.
• Professionals may cancel or reschedule, mark no-shows, or limit bookings from people who repeatedly miss appointments.
• Each professional may have their own cancellation or late policy; check with them.
• Some professionals ask for a deposit to book. Their cancellation rule is shown before you pay: cancel at least that far ahead and the deposit is refunded automatically. Cancel later, or miss the appointment, and the professional may keep it. If the professional cancels, you get the deposit back.

Reviews

After an appointment you can leave a rating and a comment. Keep it honest and about your own visit: no fake reviews, personal attacks or private information. Reviews show your first name and last initial. Professionals can choose not to show a review on their page, and we may remove reviews that break these rules.

Text reminders

If you tick "Text me a reminder" when booking, we'll send one text to the phone number you gave, about a day before your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.

Payments

You pay the professional directly: in person, or through Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal or Apple Cash. Deposits are paid by card through Stripe, straight into the professional's own Stripe account. BlackClipp doesn't hold your money or take a cut. Apart from automatic deposit refunds described above, refunds and payment disputes are between you and the professional, and the payment provider's own terms apply.

For professionals: plans and refunds

BlackClipp plans are a one-time payment. If you're not happy, email us within 30 days of buying and we'll refund the plan in full. Text reminder packs are non-refundable once used. You can download your clients and bookings from your dashboard at any time.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep that account secure; you're responsible for bookings made with it. Don't misuse the site, for example by making fake bookings, scraping it, or trying to access other people's data. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

We work to keep BlackClipp running and accurate, but it's provided "as is", and we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, BlackClipp isn't liable for the services professionals provide, missed or changed appointments, or payments made between you and a professional.
